I guess these are the people the NSA says t wanna stop. The Tsarnoffs.

...I think it's your bedtime, because you're not making any sense.

This feels so long ago now...I really don't even know who the bomber got convicted of and what his consequences were...

No I mean with the wire tapping. Its analagous.

I'm normally against the death penalty but some part of me would want to make an exception for this case

Should've been put in life in prison without parole. :-\ Extremists are willing to die anyway for a cause, and I don't like that the U.S. are depicted as killers too...

I don't see what we're really gaining from this.

Well in contrast to when they are alive, they don't eat if they're dead. Thus they don't need to buy food for them from your taxmoney.

Really if people are sentenced lifelong they may as well be dead as they won't come out alive anyway.

This may all sound harsh but there is truth in it.

Sentencing to death costs much more than life in prison thanks to special legal processing which includes a lot of special processing, appeals, death row maintenance, frequent delays, and carrying out the execution. People stay in death row frequently for at least a decade. You're also dehumanizing these people. They're still humans, no matter how heinous their crimes are and even if they come from an extremely backward culture.

And you get the people who are actually carrying out the executions. They're probably feeling something, even if they are executing a known terrorist.

I don't think capital punishment works from a lot of perspectives, not just the moral one.

I'd never be happy that someone is going to be executed, but mainly because they did something terrible to bring it upon them: life is precious, but those who use their life to destroy and end others don't deserve it. I just feel like, why keep monsters alive, and give them food and housing, when there's so many starving homeless and whatnot who did nothing nearly as bad, if anything at all? If we're okay with murderers getting killed by soldiers in wars overseas, and are okay with murderers getting killed by police in stand-offs and whatnot (assuming it was undisputedly warranted), and are okay with murderers killing themselves to avoid getting caught, then I kinda feel like, why aren't we okay with murderers being killed by a court ruling too? (assuming there's no doubt that they're guilty)

I dunno, more than anything, it's simply a lose-lose situation whenever it comes to this.
