I think the Wii U version will be better. Mario Kart 7 seemed sort of gimmicky because the concept of driving on air and underwater were so brief that they almost seem like a novelty or a last minute thing. It also seemed like they didn't have a lot of ideas for the concept either. I probably will never play arcade GP DX. I don't live in Japan and I do not plan on going there just to play that game. The original mario kart (super mario kart) is just unfairly programmed and I feel that even though it started the series, it hasn't aged well with the other games due to how it's rules are very unorthodox (out of order).
