It's really offensive and annoying because it's just kind of like AH I HATE YOU TRY IT YOURSELF

well, then you are probably talking to the 12 to 14 year old call of duty fanbase.

Most of the time when people say something is for babies they havent tried it/know what it even is so I just ignore it.

I usually just ignore people that say that. My response is usually just 'good for you' while I continue whatever it is I'm doing and then they don't respond because they don't get the reaction they were hoping for.

But it's a pretty silly phrase. The kind of insult you would use in grade 3 when someone was playing with toys or something.

i've never really had a probelm with this

most people i know call something "stupid" if they don't like it

Usually when someone calls something stupid or they say it's for babies, they usually are completely off.

Because the people that have tried or has given a chance for stuff that is "baby-ish" are usually the more mature and open-minded people that like to try new things and actually live a little instead of trying to fit in with those group of people. You never know what you truly like and don't like until you try it. And if you try it and hate it, it doesn't mean that it is stupid or baby-ish, but just not something you personally enjoy.

Heck, if someone calls it stupid, then obviously they are not mature enough to be open-minded.

That's a rather close-minded statement.

It was, but based on all the people that usually say it - which the majority is in the adolescent age - they usually do fall into that category. Not all I should add, though my point was that don't influence what people say you should do, unless it's destructive.
