I don't know why, but for some reason I thought of the Natural Killer Cyborg from Mother 3 after seeing that image... :p

If wario can automatically get stronger that makes him like the Broly of brawl!

not really, wario has power but he's also quite slow.

I wouldn't really say he's that slow; he's got top notch aerial mobility in Brawl (I believe he actually has the best ability to drift in mid-air, which is basically being able to weave left and right lol).

well im mainly referring to his stronger moves, which are pretty slow or can leave you very open(such as side and down smash attacks).

Although he does have good air control which is very good for fans of mid jumping but eh.

I dont think he's a bad character, but he has some issues that irk me.

if anything, this gives me hope that Ridley, or at least some alternate Metroid representative, will make it in as a new character. think about it- if he was a stage hazard, he would've been displayed to us by now. "an enemy from Samus's past" could've referred to Mother Brain, and we didn't guess that Sakurai was just being a big ol' tease. besides, even though the lava never actually rises on this stage in the actual game, it's not a Smash game without a liquid hazard Metroid stage, and Ridley as a hazard along with lava would be too obnoxious.
my money is on Ridley making it in as a playable character, now more than ever. if I'm right, a lot of naysayers and dream crushers owe me like a dollar each.
edit: also, I would like to point out how fucking huge Mother Brain is. Mario looks dinky as shit behind her. she's never been this massive in any Metroid game- the brain itself has always been about Samus's height. clear evidence that Sakurai gives no fucks about a character's size when it comes to Smash. I'd say Ridley's chances are nice.

well it is in the games, the assist trophy however is much smaller.

Although mother brains second phaze is pretty huge, not kraid huge, but still pretty big.

I'm gonna try to be nice here. Forget about Daisy.

She is an insignificant character in the series. Her only main series role was as a generic damsel on distress that easily could've been Peach. She exists only to be Peach's partner in sports games and add fluff to Mario Kart rosters. The Smash series is for major characters from their respective series. Not for minor characters only from spin-offs. In addition, she offers nothing that would make a unique moveset. She's better off as a Peach costume like she is now.
