How can one character have six backstories without being an insane person that switches the story everytime he or she is asked?

basically a characters previous history/life experience

So, stuff like what Daisy did at Mario Tennis 64, Mario Party 7, Super Mario Land, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, etc. can all qualify as a backstory in the loosest terms.

So, to an extent, yes, she does have quite an extensive history...

yeah but all these are from nothing more than spin-offs.

Which usually doesnt really mean anything to smash bros. Although roy wasnt major at the time and he still came in on melee though. Although that seems to be just because FE needed another rep.

Dunno why they needed another Fire Emblem rep, though, considering how Fire Emblem has more reps than, say, Kirby.

well yeah i guess thats true, just pointing it out.

Well FE used to have more then kirby, but not if meta knight and dedede still come in.

Not sure if ike will be replaced by chrom or not, we'll see.

I'm sure he isnt the most requested character, but he is the protag of awakening, which has done very well, so i assume they'll put chrom in.

I'm not sure if its gonna be done with marth and ike though or chrom will replace ike.

Not sure atm.

I'm looking closely but I don't see what gives you that idea. Red and Blue? Those are common colours.

Rosalina honestly felt like a filler Character to me in Super Mario Galaxy, her debut game.
I would have honestly preffered another Luma in that game.
