Personally i feel like kamek would be the best for a yoshi playable character.

Although kamek doesnt have too much of defining features vs a typical magikoopa.

So im not too sure about that.

Yeah but most characters are pretty unique and arent based on an entire species, then again thats not entirely true as seen from various pokemon and even yoshi, so really idk.

Baby Mario and Baby Luigi have one appearance in an RPG plus various playable appearances in spinoffs, so they can work fairly well, IMO. That's why the Ice Climbers are such great fits for them, lol

I don't know if they should be Mario or Yoshi candidates, though. The babies have appeared rarely in their diapers when they were playable in the spinoffs, so that makes them more like Mario characters, huh?

As for the stork, I'd like to have another bird playable.

Also I would like werehog sonic to appear. Oh and Sonics wisp powers from Sonic Colors. Eggman as a playable character. Mecha Sonic as and assist or Playable.

Werehog Sonic and Mecha Sonic definitely won't be in there at all, Eggman will probably remain a trophy, and maybe one wisp power as an item, probably Frenzy would be most fitting, but I doubt it.

Sorry to break up the current Yoshi discussion, but I was just on another forum, where one guy complained that Little Mac, a small and speedy character, is given super-armor for some attacks, total invincibility for other attacks, and an attack that gives him a one-hit KO, while Bowser gets none of these. His logic is that stuff like super-armor, invincibility, and super-powerful attacks should be reserved for the bigger characters, as a trade-off for their slower speeds and bigger hitboxes, to make the game more balanced.

This is kind of true, now that I think about it... It's definitely a discussion worth having and hopefully, Sakurai and his team will work out the kinks to his character before the game's release.

also true, although characters can be good without projectiles though.

Whether or not we'll get to see how he functions as broken will all be seen from more gameplay videos and of course when the game releases.

Marth didn't need projectiles to be one of the best characters in Melee and Brawl.

Little Mac could always be portrayed as a middleweight, with his greatest weakness being vulnerable to grab games.

Were as Bowser is Super Heavy Weight I think bowser can hold his own. I hope they add his shockwave jump and give him better jumping cause in mario galaxy he's doing back flips but in brawl he can barely get 3 feet off the ground.
