When Little Mac was revealed, for me it was the last straw and I made up my mind that I would not get this game no matter what else.

But I'm gving this game one last chance.

But more than just a chance!

It can only be taken away in 1 way: By not including one of the characters that I came into this whole thing really wanting.

So for example, it cannot be taken away by them adding characters I don't like including but not limited to: Toon Zelda, R.O.B, Bowser Jr, etc, or by choices in playable Stages (eg. Spear Pillar returns) or by choices in moveset.

However, this means nothing if one of the characters I really want is not in, including but not limited to: Yoshi, Daisy, Meta Knight, etc.

Stop whining, if you're truly not interested in the game over a petty thing such as Daisy not being playable or you personally not liking most of the newcomers. Then stop posting here.

And i'm pretty sure Yoshi and Meta Knight have great chances to return. I really wouldn't worry about them. You however shouldn't get your hopes high for Daisy.



Anyway... Sweet a Smash specific direct ^^

I predict:

- At least one Newcomer
- At least two Veterans
- A release date window or even specific release date

Let's see here. My prediction is similar to SonicMario's.

We'll definitely get a release date which would probably be shown at the end of a new trailer. The trailer would feature a couple veterans. They would probably show Meta Knight because there's not a game related to him coming soon. There is Triple Deluxe in America, but I don't think he's in that. I don't think Yoshi or Ice Climbers will be shown because they'll probably be revealed separately when their corresponding games come out. I could see Sheik or Zero Suit Samus being shown. As for the other shoe-ins like Ness, Jiggs, Captain Falcon, Falco, and Ganon, they'll probably be shown after release because they're usually unlockables. Though some of them could be default this time around like Ness and Falcon were in Melee.

Then there's the newcomers. Whatever newcomer they show will probably be a big deal. I could see Palutena, Issac, or dare I say even Ridley.

We'll also probably get a look at some stages and some juicy gameplay information from Sakurai.

Any word on how long the direct will be?

This is probably why they've been holding off on new characters for over like 6 weeks now. We bet they are going to show a hand-ful of new features, some new characters, maybe even what the adventure mode will be in this game.

I don't know, I don't want them to make it too long because they need stuff for E3 and with Smash being one of, if not their biggest game for the Wii U right now, they need all the E3 hype they could get. Also, E3 is in like two months as well.

I could possibly see Smash 4 for the Wii U version get it's release date set for somewhere in Q3. Maybe the date even being only about a month or sooner after E3 (Just so Smash 4 can have one last huge announcement shortly before the game arrives. I can't see them releasing the game before E3 because otherwise there'd be barely any surprise left in the character roster left for E3)

Maybe the 3DS version will also get a date. But it will come in the Holiday season. Get the version that most people want out first, and then the other so that there's less confusion initially.

It'd be a smart business move to make the releases of both, months between eachother.

That said, there are a few things about it that make it unlikely that it will be taken up.
If you asked me in 2012/2013 if I thought Daisy would be playable in Smash 4, my answer would be of course I think that she'll be in and I hope for that too.
I was actually fairly sure of it up until Rosalina came in and caused me to cry out saddness. I was so very upset that day, like the most upset I've been outside of times where I actually feel true pain or painlike circumstances in my life for a long time.
That said, I am confident that both Daisy and Waluigi will both be playable in Smash Bros eventually and the real question is when.

I don't think they will ever be playable.

Mario has five characters, not to mention Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Wario. Adding in those two would give us too many Mario characters. I get the feeling you just want Mario characters. Guess what, there's more to Nintendo than Mario. Even if another Mario character were to be added, Toad would be the most likely. He's a major main series character. Unlike Waluigi and Daisy, who are just filler for spin-offs. These characters are extremely minor and don't need to be playable. Waluigi is an assist trophy and that's just fine. Daisy should just stay a collection trophy or sticker.
