Truth be told, I feel like Jigglypuff is more likely to return than Mewtwo. Fairy typing keeps Jiggly relevant today and I feel like Game Freak would want there to be representation of the brand new typing, but Mewtwo's new gimmick - mega evolution - is covered by two of the other Pokemon reps already, so it may be a bit superfluous.

I love playing as Jigglypuff, actually, since it's just so funny. Plus the sunhat just makes it even more amazing.

Jigglypuff has become a staple of the series. She's very popular in Japan plus is a fairy type now so her moveset may change.

Please get rid of that useless move Sing.

D'OH! I completely forgot Jigglypuff became Fairy type and didn't take that into consideration. Yeah, she's probably returning and I agree that having three Final Smashes that are essentially the same thing would be silly.

All I'm hoping for is a Ness and Ice Climbers (and Lucas) confirmation soon.

It's about time. It only took them, like, six years to be used in anything again. I guess this is yet another thing to add to the list to disprove many peoples' baseless assumptions of Rare owning the rights to the Kremlings. Since they're in the game, I hope this means that K. Rool will finally be one of the fighters for a change, instead of those minor trophy cameos he got in the last two.

any mention of that Shulk/Palutena/Chorus Group leak? Apparently it comes from the same source that leaked WFT before E3.

if this is true, then Shulk and those adorable guys from Rhythm Heaven are playable, bringing it up to 42.

besides, Falcon and Wario are shoe-ins thanks to their series' respective assist trophies, and Ness is bound to return because of the Franklin Badge and Mr. Saturn.

Everything about that direct was magnificent. Smash Run, stages, items, online, the whole kit and kaboodle. Felt like a dork laughing and smiling at everything, and I almost died at the ZSS bit and the Pseudo-Palutena trophy (HE SO KNOWS), but it was so worth it.

and holy fuck I didn't know I wanted Greninja until he was announced, this basically sold me

So fucking stoked.

same, god the series is so colourful and worthy of Smash representation. the fact that it's designed by the team behind WarioWare just makes it infinitely better

problem is idk how the chorus guys would work, perhaps they'd draw inspiration from the various minigames in RH a la Game & Watch? I'd fucking die if Donk Donk was a recovery

Ps: Take these with a grain of salt. I did not edit anything after writing it down.

EDIT: After calming down a bit, I can say, this hasn't been ALL bad, but I am just really pissed at how many seperate Pokémons there are in this game.

EDIT2: Wait, I've come up with a title for this game! Super Pokémon Bros: Red (3DS) and Blue (Wii U).

EDIT3: At this rate I wouldn't wonder if Pichu also returns.

I'd only want Mewtwo back if he's a more solid fighter than in Melee. Giving him actual psychic moves would be cool too.

But I think we may only get five Pokemon, and Jigglypuff will probably fill that last spot.
