I feel like the 3DS stages are a lot more interesting than the Wii U stages in terms of gimmicks. Like, stages that you collect stuff and then you turn golden, stages where you appear on the other side, stages where you eat pellets and then ONLY on your screen you the ghosts are weak to you.
I don't really enjoy the stages that involve a collecting gimmick. 100 Coins, 100 Pellets. I like focusing on the fight so when I'm given an option that promotes running away to collect random shit, I tend to not enjoy it as much.
I will say the 3DS stages so far have been far more unique but whether the bigger gimmicks are a good thing is up to the player I guess. I'll just turn off the stages I don't like.

What I find funny about thursday's trophy image is the fact that like for awhile he's been building up the color-swap versions of playable characters (SS Link, Pink Hoodie Little Mac), and then he totally Sakutrolls us by getting us to think that it was a color-swap.
Hmmm...I'm starting to get a little worried.
Like, 33 characters have been revealed so far for the game, but the game is coming out in 13 weeks. There are way too many characters unrevealed right now in terms of veterans. I've been thinking that there might be more cuts than I think we think.

I highly doubt that they would do dlc for unlocking certain characters.
Like, I'm pretty sure Sakurai wouldn't pull something like that in the game.

Do keep in mind that there were multiple characters that weren't officially revealed before Brawl's release. Lucario was accidentally revealed in a picture for the sticker customisation thing but I think that was the only exception. There were something like 10-12 characters that weren't officially announced before Brawl's japanese release and they were unlockable in the final product.
There might be a lot of cuts but we don't know and won't know until the game is released. We already know that Sakurai doesn't want to cut many characters but will have to because of time constraints so we can have faith that only a small amount will be cut.

What Crackin said. Characters like Ness, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, we're not shown before the Japanese release of the game. The full roster will not be shown before release.

You must have never visited any Smash communities. Falcon is easily the most beloved character.
From what I've heard in Gamefaqs, the Japanese would love to see Captain Falcon cut, although everywhere else, he is immensely popular.
