3DS stages have more gimmicks and stage hazards. Wii U version atm seems to have the more detailed but standard stages. Keep in mind that these aren't all of them though.

Ah, So Sonic's Stage is just going to have Green Hill Zone on the 3DS version? Cool that's it's back but at the same time I'm a little disappointed that Sonic didn't get a new stage that was from one of the handheld Sonic games like the Advance series or even the Rush series.
At the very least Green Hill Zone kinda counts as a Handheld representative if you remember Sonic Generations on the 3DS had Green Hill Zone. At the same time though there's also... *shudder* Sonic Genesis...

We've practically had a stage reveal every day now. You can tell they're letting out the rest of the stuff before release.
I remember my friend and I playing on GHZ, with him as Pit and me as Toon Link. He just sat on the other end of the stage, spamming arrows and deflecting my projectiles. I managed to win somehow :PLucky FS - thank god he insisted to keep Smash Balls on.

Look, you know why Sakurai chose Greninja? Not because he was a water type, but because he like the design Gamefreak sent him and he based the character off of that. He did not choose Greninja because he wanted a water type to complete a triangle.
