I hear two syllables, one that sounds like "ray" and another that sounds like "man." He either misidentified Mega Man or provided an accidental leak.

For all we now, Rayman could be playable and the trophy could just be hint. Sakurai never outright deconfirmed Rayman.

He did say they sent models, so they could have sent character models, and now they're just making it.

I thought the developers basically have the characters planned out already, almost done with character models. This does not, however, deconfirm Rayman since the trophy and the request can be made at ANY point in the development stage and the developers could just be holding on to Rayman.

We are now in the month of August. It's Metroid month now, baby. Since standard Nintendo directs are bi-monthly, we're most likely getting one this month (not counting the Hyrule Warriors direct). You know what that means.

This is assuming that will bother me but I don't care how much you talk about him being playable anymore, the point is that you will you have to wait for many more years and I will feed off your tears.

If he is playable I get to use Ridley in Smash, I can't lose no matter what happens.

Yeah, Toad was disconfirmed a long time ago.

Captain Toad is really the only possibility for a Toad character. Even that is pretty unlikely.

On the topic of Pac-Man, I really wish that his move-set was based on the Pac Man World games instead of Pac Land. I thought that was what we were going to get and I was disappointed on reveal.

Toad is a classic, important Mario character who is far more popular than orange Peach, and who is far more important to the Mario series as a whole than orange Peach. Besides, he's getting is own flippin' game.

Yeah. I'm a Daisy fan myself and I'm perfectly happy with her as a trophy and alternate Peach costume.
