In short, all that's new is that there's more evidence to the leak being real. But nobody not even the leakers actually know who the last few characters are. (Otherwise I think we would of gotten pictures and/or footage of them too).

At the end of the day though, we're promised more then 48 characters. That's pretty cool actually, and much more then I expected. Even if there's two of them I really don't like (Dr. Mario & Dark Pit)

Dr. Mario was actually one of my Melee mains so I'm happy he's coming back (hopefully with a cool final smash, if it's Mario Finale then fuck), Dark Pit on the other hand...

That was just a Trophy of Lemmy in the Clown Car. Also most of the Koopalings have distinct shapes, that'd be 8 different characters to model just for one slot.
