I've only done it with Shulk so far, though I was about to do it with Zelda (and honestly could if I tried now) yesterday if the Master Core clone didn't short-hop bair me out of nowhere. IMO, the hard part is getting to him without going down a level because you can be thrown in some ridiculous conditions (Exhibit A: those "team" matches) on the way.
I simply took the easiest routes in all of my attempts (excluding stage 5, where I may take a harder route if it means getting the Fighting Mii Team as your opponent; that team is the easiest, as the Fighting Miis can't grab ledges, and have no special moves). With Rosalina, I've been able to make it up to stage 6 without suffering any setbacks. However, Master Core did give me some game overs that warranted me to alter Rosalina's equipment. I eventually got lucky enough to conquer intensity level 9.0 Master Core.
At least the one good side for losing against Master Core is that you usually manage to collect more than enough gold to replace the 2200G that you've spent to play intensity level 9.0. So in a way, you don't really lose any gold.

Robin said:Oh, no wonder. I haven't used the equipment in Classic Mode yet and always take the hardest routes in all of my attempts (except sometimes stage five), so that's probably why I don't have as easy a time. I'm fairly certain it does give you a greater payout overall, though, which is probably why I don't deviate from those routes.
The Pause Function has been specuated to be a Wuhu Island stage. I know it probably isn't the case, but maybe it was built in the new Stage Builder. Perhaps you can use full sections of Wuhu Island! If it's just a normal stage though, then it also appears in the Handicap image.Gamefreak75 said:Sakurai said:Pic of the day. Here's the settings menu for Rules. Comical pictures appear on the left when you go through the options, so I'll briefly introduce them.
Going clockwise from the top-left corner, here are the pictures that appear for Rules, Time Limit, Custom Fighters, Stage Choice, Damage Ratio, and Handicap.
In the Wii U version, you can customize additional rules from the beginning of the game. Here are the pictures displayed for Stock Time Limit, Team Attack, Pause Function, SD Penalty, Damage Display, and Score Display. You can almost hear Fox's cry in the picture displayed for SD Penalty settings.
Yep, Fox's lovely, angelic cry with his new voice...
Also, all the pictures seem to take place on new stages. Which stages are Kirby, Charizard/Toon Link, and Yoshi on?
Charizard and Toon Link looks like they're on Melee Temple. So that's confirmed. Yoshi looks like Gaur Plains, but no idea on Kirby...
Yes! I should be there!Lucina said:let's get ready to hypeClaus said:Double post:

This is an accessory which was released for the NES outside of Japan. Now, this image is edited, but it's a scene from the secret fighter's reveal video.

Wow, he's really phoning in this potd. Badly censored (right ear isn't fully censored) image of a reveal trailer that will be shown Thursday. C'mon...
At the very least, we're getting the direct in less than two days.
