Just because he decided to add Mewtwo in the last minute doesn't make me forget how angry he made me when he didn't include him in the initial roster AND ALSO how he ditched Lucas, Wolf and the Ice Climbers (3DS limitations, I know, but still) and decided to add nonsensical characters like Dr. Mario and Dark Pit. It's for the things he's done in the past why I don't respect him. Like I said, I'm not going to discuss this.
I think the best part of Mewtwo returning is that now I'm able to say "IN YOUR FACE, SUCKERS!!!!!" to naysayers. HAHAHA!!

I know you're trying to say you have more reasons then just Mewtwo that you're upset with Sakurai. But lemme at least address something regarding Mewtwo.
Mewtwo being DLC now gives him more of an Alibi. It turns out when Sakurai was talking about getting data from older games. He was basically cryptically saying he tried to bring Mewtwo back by bringing his data from Melee into Smash 4 but the technology was too outdated for him to do it in time for the game's release. And they just needed the time to recreate him from scratch. This wasn't about Sakurai being mean to Mewtwo fans, he literally did try to keep his word after saying that they were thinking about it. Dated technology just made it impossible for Sakurai to manage to do it by the game's slated release date.
As for the other things. I dislike Dr. Mario and Dark Pit, as well as Lucas, Wolf, and Ice Climbers not being in the game as much as most Smash fans. But I don't hold that against Sakurai as he still provided a larger roster then I expected with quite a bit of interesting Newcomers (If the roster had been closer to 40 and it still had Dr. Mario and Dark Pit in there, then we could talk). And as seen with the stuff revealed about the Wii U version of the game, there was alot of care given to much of the other stuff that's vital about a Smash Bros. game other then the Roster. It's true that a roster for Smash is really important. But I don't think Dark Pit or Dr. Mario, or even the removal of Ice Climbers, Lucas and Wolf are going to sour the improved Stage Builder, the massive amount of Music we'll get, any possible DLC we get which may or may not included our beloved Cut veterans, 8-player Smash, Smash Tour, the plethora of Control options, MASSIVE Trophy collection considering both versions, the Online, and many other small things that makes me think this game is already looking to Brawl look plain just like Melee did to 64, and Brawl did to Melee (At least IMO). He still did an amazing job with getting the content for this game even if some of his Roster decisions I disagree with. The Good outweights the Bad at this point, and the bad is even lesser depending on how many DLC Characters we end up getting other then Mewtwo.
I also know you said you don't want to discuss it further. And I respect your right to dislike Sakurai for some of the things that have personally hurt/angered you earlier during Smash 4's development. But I also have the right to disagree that Sakurai should be looked down upon just for the weak inclusions and the cuts. He did plenty of hard work on this game like's he's done in the past for Smash and should be given a nice pat on the back, as well as a well-deserved rest for bringing us not just one. But technically two Smash Bros. games released within barely even 2 months between each other.
I'm willing to say that if this Smash is the last one he directs (I think it's kinda likely. Sakurai isn't getting younger. And he injures himself quite a bit when developing Smash Bros. games. We're going to need new blood sooner or later. I could see either Nintendo finding someone willing to do as tough of a job as Sakurai, or Sakurai himself chooses his successor. So to speak) then he really left it on a high note and even leaves a tough act to follow for the future. If this game is Sakurai's Swan Song, even just Smash Bros. wise. Then I don't think there's any denying he's really left a legacy on one of the greatest Video Game franchises on Nintendo systems that should be praised and rewarded.

I understand and I agree with all the things you said. What I'm angry about is the way he did things. He could have gone out and stated the exact reasons why Mewtwo didn't make it in the first place (I assume that it's a conclusion you're making, because as far as I'm concerned Sakurai never stated specifically why Mewtwo didn't return at first, but correct me if I'm wrong). All I wanted was an explanation like the Ice Climbers one. I still think it's very unfair that because of the much inferior 3DS version, us Wii U users won't be able to use the Ice Climbers, but that's a topic for another day. The unstoppable Ridley teasing is also unforgivable. Basically, he has fun by making people anxious only to ultimately bring them down. That's my beef with him. I also hate the way he answers to some questions during interviews and his ridiculously arrogant attitude. It's all against him, his personality mostly.

I know that you have a right to feel however you want, but if you're going to shit on a person just because they didn't reveal a character you wanted, and then continue to shit on him for revealing it as a pleasant surprise, it's just insensitive and immature (at least the way you are coming off as). Without him, this game would never have been made, and there would have been no revival of Mewtwo in Smash, and Ridley would not be a Stage boss that you can use to fight with or against you, and all the other stuff he has put into the game.
Just, I'm sure that there would be better reception to how you feel if it didn't sound like it was coming from a whining 9 year old that didn't get it exactly the way he wanted (sorry if the wording is a bit harsh, but I'm just trying to best get my point across). I completely understand your beef with him, but I have not seen you mention anything other than your whining comments.
Last thing I want to say, just know that if you created something that you spent a lot of hard work on, just to have people completely shit on you, you probably would not like, now would you? Being upset is fine and you should be critical of the game as liking it just because it is real doesn't mean that it doesn't have issues. Just, re-read what you are saying and how you sound in it or else people might continue thinking that all you have to say is whining complaints over an inanimate object and a person that you have never met in your entire life.

Actually I'll be honest the only reason I had such a reaction was because it only defied my expectations about Mewtwo's presence. I could never get good with Mewtwo in Melee and wasn't really miffed at all about his absence in Brawl... I'm just happy he is returning at all and I don't care about him not being in the initial roster.
Anyway, Mario Kart 8's Mario Circuit is appearing, which caught me off guard considering how recent that game is, not even 6 whole months.
Also Yoshi's Woolly World.

So, have we seen all the stages now or are any still hidden? I'm still hoping for either a Mario & Luigi stage (would be odd but I could see them thinking that series would look better in HD) or a console-focused Paper Mario stage.

Which I agree is pretty sad, especially since they included Mario Circuit from Brawl and now the new Mario Circuit.
I didn't see Smashville in that select screen, unless it was in the omega portion or something. Also it was pointed out earlier Stadium 2 is back but I also didn't see it on the select screen. It's safe to assume there are hidden stages.

So if the direct didn't reveal ALL stages...then that means Mewtwo is not the only DLC character, of course Ridley is out of the question but Impa, and Dixie still have a chance

^I'd say Brawl veterans have the best chance, considering their assets are easily portable to the Wii U and they'll need touch-ups here and there.
Let's hope, aside from Pac-Land, that all the hidden stages aren't retro stages.![:-\](/custom/smilies/undecided.gif "Undecided :-\")
I'd consider this the best stage yet roster if they include another Kirby stage and a new Mother stage (Magicant hd is 1000% acceptable too). Most obvious choice for a Kirby stage would be Return to dream land since it's existence is acknowledged in Smash Wii U with the Starcutter trophy (Lor Starcutter stage that takes place in Another dimension would be hype as fuck). It'd be really shitty if F-Zero and Mother got the shaft for Wii U stages considering both series are console-heavy series.
