This is a reason why I half dread the day the full roster is leaked. Ashley wasn't as likely as these people think they are. Imagine the reaction to characters that are popular choices but still didn't make the cut. Or really popular characters that are much more so then Ashley that also don't have a chance (Characters like Goku, Shadow, etc.)
(Though I admit, if Shadow is deconfirmed early before the Full Roster leak. I'm hopping onto Miiverse and bringing out the popcorn.)

They should be happy she got in as an Assist Trophy. Geez, I'll be satisfied with that Fawful assist trophy that leak's promising me, and I won't be like "zomg deconfirmed non-playable WAAA" I'll be like "oh my god, it-- it's another appearance finally!"
