So I just watched Sakurai's video where he explains the 3 newcomers. They actually all look really good, even the Wii Fit Trainer. Definitely a neat set of newcomers to show off at first.

They're all duplicates or Japanese versions of the three trailers we've already seen.

I'm not big on the ideas of Pac-Man and Mii being playable. But if Little Mac becomes playable too I can live with them, since he's the newcomer I want the most.

I really hope Miis aren't playable. If they are, what will their attacks be? Pulling out random stuff? Doesn't the Villager do that?

Also, if the Mii is revealed and uses stuff like tennis rackets and golf clubs from Wii Sports, that probably means less chance of Waluigi appearing. :(

I actually feel the same way, well with Mega-Man and the Villager at least.

Mega-Man's Leaf Shield I can easily see that being abused. Also, one of his attacks made Mario go from 26% to 71%. ;__; (If it doesn't bring you to the time just go to like 4:26)

Villager I can see being OP since he can just pick up a single projectile and use it at his own will. I can already see him being the anti-camping character and being a good partner in doubles. :P
The Bowling Ball seems nice for covering the ledge and stopping your opponent from easily getting back onstage.

I wouldn't say I don't care for the characters. As after all I'll want to play as every single one at least once in the game. But I'm similar in that as long as Sonic's returning I'm content.

Mega Man being in this is awesome. But uh...Wii Fit Trainer? Don't think they should've added her...all of her moves are probably going to be yoga poses. I honestly don't get why they put her in this, not a big deal though.

Well, she's a charater from Nintendo and adds probably an interesting playstyle based on dodging and timing your moves, so I don't see why not, the more diversity the better.
