Did Sakurai ever say he would cut Sonic?NSY said:Someone needs to start something called "Operation Speed", which will be used as a protest to not have Sonic get cut.

Christian Brutal Sniper said:yeah sonic's moveset was definitely one of the lamest in the game
there was jump, spin into a ball, kick, spin into a ball, spin into a ball, and spin into a ball
I liked Sonic's little spring jump thing though. But he was just way to fast to even control him, IMO. He should be slowed down a bit.Crackin355 said:Christian Brutal Sniper said:yeah sonic's moveset was definitely one of the lamest in the game

You forgot kick with a twirl, the most important one.

It certainly is possible, but it would require a little more work on the part of the texture artists. It would be awesome if it was true, though.Baby Luigi said:That's awesome, but I don't think it's possible. The flat characters in Flat Zone are actually 3D, just very squashed in width. Yarn is something totally different than a mere squashing of a model.

The roster is now in the implementation phase.
excited yet kinda nervous
Groden said:It's a bit of a waste of development time considering it's for one stage. Flattening a model probably took no time at all, making yarn variants of every character in the game probably would take a bit longer.
