Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare

Apparently it is a real thing, just not the technical PvZ2. That would be PvZ2: It's about Time. And apparently it is a Third Person Shooter. So the rumors were true and not moderately successful trolling(in the sense people actually believed it was real and whined when it wasn't real at all). Now where can I fetch the video I need.....

Everyone's talking about this and how awesome it looks. All I can say is... yyyyes, it does look awesome, but, ehhh, you know... I'm glad they're making It's About Time! along with this, so it's not like THIS is the sequel we've all been waiting for. So it's like we get the REAL sequel, then this as a bonus.

(seriously, you have NO idea how conflicted I am over this)
 
Certainly was not expecting the new Plants vs. Zombies game to be a third person shooter, but it looks interesting at least. Probably not something I'd buy though.

it's not THE new Plants vs. Zombies, it's A new Plants vs. Zombies. There's going to be a more traditional 2D tower defense sequel (currently set only for iOS devices) called "Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time!", and then there's this game, set to initially be released on the Xbox One, then the Xbox 360, then PC and so on and so forth.

Not bad, in all honesty. The fact that it's a spin-off and not the series new direction makes me more inclined to check it out.
 
This looks absolutely amazing.

I want it.

I'm really glad this isn't Pvz2 and is a spin-off instead however, just wouldn't fit as pvz2.
 
in a way reminds me of TF2 (goofiness factor)
I'll probably get it for pc, not a HUGE console fan

That's pretty much my initial thought, too. Like, why must EVERYTHING be turned into a first-person shooter?!

But really, this looks more like a third-person shooter, which I can get behind (literally), not to mention, the plants vs. zombies thing... it actually works here!

I don't like generic war zone shooters. But I do enjoy wacky shooter games like this one, they have more to offer IMO.
 
We haven’t announced any plans yet for any additional platforms outside of the PC, but the way I typically answer that question is we want to get this game in the hands of as many people as possible. Obviously, we’re exclusively first on the Xbox platforms, but I think in the coming months players will see some announcements that will please them depending on their platform of choice.

Please be announced for PS3 (or Wii U, but that seems unlikely).
