As does one of mine, but he bugs the shit out of me that I should "grow out of baby stuff like Mario and play real men's games like COD on Xbox 360."

Pray his soul. Very heartbreaking...

Anyway, I have a few cousins who are 360 fanboys. Whilst they don't annoy me with it...it sucks now because I can't relate to them in video games anymore. Back then, we played the same games often.

It's exactly why it's hard to take the COD fanbase seriously.

The game is excellent, but it's those immature players that think that playing a mature game is just awesome and think that they can downgrade the other games like Mario that are not that mature.

Same with this guy. We used to play Super Mario Galaxy all the time; now his Wii is buried under a bunch of stuff and most of his games for it are broken.

Call of doody. I play it a little to, but these guys harp on everyone who says one bad thing about CoD. I'm literaly the only kid in my class who knows what a NES or Gamecube is. Its sad.

Call of Duty really is not "mature" by any logical stretch of the word, which is the part I always find so funny when CoD players pretend that it is. It can only be considered "mature" in the same way someone might think Slipknot are "mature" just because they swear and scream; it's completely juvenile and just silly. There's a nice little song called "Call of Duty Circus" that sums it up nicely.

you are a disgrace to the community of songs made about pre-existing video games

commit seppuku now, salvage your honour

It's amusing how most of the people who play Call of Duty aren't even old enough to play the games but play them anyway.

Inversely, most of the people who play Pokémon are.

They're the only ones that share the mentality of a 19-year-old fratboy.

It's either COD or Minecraft. But I know quite a few who do Battlefield, and there's one of my friends who is a Nintendo fanboy, and has a lot of Nintendo games, not that I'm complaining

My friends like Fifa 13. And one of them his name is Daniel He's OBSESSED with Black Ops.

My friend (the one I mentioned earlier) is like 12 or 13 (he may be older now, I am bad at math) but he's been a COD fanatic since he was 8/9 at least. My nephew (about 10 or 11 I think) plays a bit more variety of games but he plays a lot of M-rated games he's too young for, I think he plays them because of his dad (my brother). He'll still play Mario games too though, but one time I was playing Brawl with him and my brother comes in like "I need you to get me this weapon," to which my nephew responds that he is busy with Brawl. His dad threatens to ground him, and he goes to help with his game.

Your dad has no understanding what the M for Mature rating means in the box.

most parents dont care, hence why you'll see 10 years olds playing cod or any other game that may have some sort of excessive violence.

Although this often has some pretty dire consequences.

It's my brother, not my dad. Although he's old enough to be my dad (I think). But my dad also does not like me to play Mario games because he thinks I have an obsession.
