Did you ever forget to save after getting something important

Uh... one time I was playing Persona 3 and I beat the Crying Tables early in the game (SO HARD) and I forgot to save before shutting off the game. Much rage ensued.
 
Fire Emblem Awakening. I was stuck in the same place for two days because my 3DS kept running out of battery, and I didn't save.
 
Interesting story, here.

That almost happened to me. I was on that part in PMTTYD in which you had to convince Bobbery to stop being such a pussy about Scarlet (I think her name was). I had also done a whole bunch of crap before that, like adding a load of recipes to my journal. Anyway, after I stepped out of his house, I pressed down the power button. I caught myself though. So in one hand, my finger was holding down the power button. In the other, I had the controller and walked over tho the save block. After I had saved, I removed my finger.

Hissyfit: Narrowly avoided.
 
Well, I accidentally saved over my cousin's copy of Wind Waker after he beat the game, not realising it had a second quest.

...hey, it was quite a few years ago! But I learnt my lesson after that.
 
Well while I was playing Mega Man 3 one time I beat the last of the Robot Masters and just started one of the Doc Robot stages before I turned my 3DS off because I couldn't record my new password, I believe (I wasn't at home at the time). I didn't even make a savestate...
 
Third play though of Twilight Princess, I forgot to save when I decided to stop playing after I got the master sword and I got pushed back to when I beat the Lakebed temple.

Had to do all of that again.
