More series to be represented in SSB4?

This is just a little theory I've came up with.

With characters like the Wii Fit Trainer and the Villager being added, I think Nintendo is trying to represent as many Nintendo series as they can (which, of course means, probably not as many newcomers for current series like Zelda and Mario). Especially if the roster number will be similar to the amount in Brawl. So perhaps we can expect characters like Isaac from Golden Sun, Little Mac from Punch Out, or even Starfy from The Legend of Starfy.

Do you think this idea is possible? I think it's rather plausible, I just want to see what you guys think.

Thats good Nintendo are representing more characters. It adds a better selection of playable characters

Professor Layton should be in.

Isn't he more like second-party? or something like that. I doubt he'll be given priority.
So is Kirby and Pokemom. Yet they get represented a lot in SSB.

I'd love to see Layton in, but the only moves I see him doing are puzzle-related and using a sword like in the second one. A Layton stage however, I think is highly possible.

I don't know anything about layton other than its art style so im not sure how to reply to that.

Although i do feel like it should be represented in some way as I know a lot of people here, and in other communities love the series, whether it be stage, assist trophy, or some sort of item.

I also think this topic is pretty interesting as there is a lot of representatives showing up, or well, more of them anyway.

I really hope golden sun gets a character though. I mean i guess assist trophy is all well and good, but im just too picky with things to want something other than a character.

Although an actual stage would be cool too, as there is quite a bit of area's that could be interesting for a stage.

Please? Pretty please?

It probably won't happen but it sure would make me a happy little ranger if it did.

yes please, more Nintendo franchises represented is better for a celebration of all things Nintendo

Considering there are a lot of eShop releases, wouldn't surprise me they do use some things from it.

Well, the Kirby games are made by HAL Laboratories, while Pokémon is made by Game Freak.

HAL Laboratories is a subsidiary of Nintendo though. Game Freak creates games for Nintendo. So they're still "parented" you could say by Nintendo.
