I have a new/avatar/sig/whatever.

Well, I've never seen Season 1, as it never aired here.
Only Seasons 2, 3, and 4 were shown in NL, and got removed from our TV's after that.

From what I remember, you're right, as far as the English dub goes. Maybe it was different in the original and that's where everyone is getting their wires crossed. But doesn't Yami Yugi just mean Dark Yugi?

Yami refers to the spirit of his Millenium Puzzle, because Bakura has a spirit referred to as Yami Bakura from his Millenium Ring, and Marik has Yami Marik from his Millenium Rod
 
Changed my avatar to Kirito from Sword Art Online. That was a really good anime, I hope they make another season. I guess I'll have to read the light novels then. Also changed my signature GIF into the episode where Kirito takes on the Floor 70+ Boss solo with dual-wielding.

He still says to refer to him as Yami. He never says to call him Yami Yugi. The only reason he needs to be called Yami is because of plot convenience amnesia and because his name is Season 5 Spoilers.

I was kind of wondering why we had to 'deal with' something that wasn't a problem at all. Assuming that we hate every FPS ever made or something.

Nothing too big, changed my username in my personal text into the move Kirito is using in my signature gif. I don't like the positioning of the face in my avatar either, I should have put it more to the left and showed a bit for of the head and coat instead of leaving the flame in. I'm too lazy to fix it though.

Also, I think the biggest reason I still keep my backloggery in my sig is because its easy to identify me with.
