But then I guess it's contradictory because most good anime don't fit your description at all. There's a lot of strange anime, but the good ones are there. You just have to spend some time looking for them. Although sometimes strange can be good in its own quirky way.

But I don't care whether you like or hate anime, it doesn't trouble me. I just replied to answer the question.
 
you seem to be forgetting that anime is all over the Internet, half of the users here have anime avatars, it's all over funnyjunk, 4chan, 9gag, reddit, and there's always anime versions of your favourite characters, it's just everywhere

In order to avoid going off topic anymore, I will simply say that it's my own opinion, and should not affect you. Obviously it's my own fault for bringing it up here, so I apologise.
 
I personally wouldn't call a picture of an anime character, 'anime'. Anime is the animation, series and story while the pictures of characters or artwork are just pictures that relate to it (Even Anime-style is just a picture that's stylized to look like it's from an anime). But that's just a preference.

I agree that it's off topic (The 'I will simply say' part is a little unnecessary, I already told you I don't care nor does it affect me) so I'll stop discussing it.

So slightly on-topic, I'm already thinking about changing my theme again. I'm getting pretty close between changes now, probably because I'm watching so much new stuff lately. I guess I'll change to King Kazma or Love Machine from Summer Days once it arrives and I re-watch it.
