For me, it just ruined what would've been a [barely] passable episode. What was even the point of that scene?Magikrazy said:That toenail scene was the only thing keeping that episode from being a complete bore.

Oh, yeah, right, I forgot for a moment we live in an era where half the "humor" of this show is just the writers experimenting with how much gore they can slip through a TV-Y7 rating.Baby Luigi said:Vommack said:For me, it just ruined what would've been a [barely] passable episode. One (or several) of the writers have fascination for gore.
Another example is Pineapple Fever, where Squidward brutally rips his eyebrow off.
Another example is the The Splinter, with the slow mo splinter piercing and all.
Don't understand how you could forget such a thing...Tuxedo Ridley said:Oh, yeah, right, I forgot for a moment we live in an era where half the "humor" of this show is just the writers experimenting with how much gore they can slip through a TV-Y7 rating.Baby Luigi said:Vommack said:For me, it just ruined what would've been a [barely] passable episode. Or how about how many questionable things they can get through the radars.Tuxedo Ridley said:Oh, yeah, right, I forgot for a moment we live in an era where half the "humor" of this show is just the writers experimenting with how much gore they can slip through a TV-Y7 rating.Baby Luigi said:Vommack said:For me, it just ruined what would've been a [barely] passable episode. Lario said:Some people act like all the episodes are just like the ones from the first line you listed. Even MrEnter doesn't do that, even with his contempt for the series.Baby Luigi said:But then you have a plethora of other crap like Demolition Doofus, The Little Yellow Book, Squid Baby, Yours Mine, and Mine, Pet Sitter Pat, A Pal for Gary, etc.
Then you get a bunch of boring episodes like Greasy Buffoons, that Kelpshake episode, Fungus Among Us, etc.
Not to mention Squidward Torture Porn and Patprick episodes...and phoned in gore and disturbing imagery
Really if the writers are capable of producing gems, then there shouldn't be any excuse to whore out ---- after ---- constantly
I'm so excited for that. I can't imagine what would be on that list.Northern Verve said:Hey Lario, would it make any better to know that Mr. Enter will be doing a Top 25 Modern Spongebob episodes this Friday? And no it won't just be "These episodes are mediocre otherwise, but they're the best Modern Spongebob has" these are going to be I believe episodes of Modern Spongebob that Mr. Enter actually does like and enjoy.
By the way, he banned Season 4 and Sand Castles in the Sand. Let's see...what episodes were good post-S4? I liked Krabs a La Mode (the one where Mr. Krabs turns the Krusty Krab into an ice skating rink)...don't remember why though, I haven't watched New Spongebob in a heck of a long time.Lario said:Not really. I already knew that he didn't hate the entirety of the post-movie seasons. I just wonder what's going to be on the list.
That's one of the reasons that Spongebob should NOT be a kids' show.Magikrazy said:That toenail scene was the only thing keeping that episode from being a complete bore.
Where does it say it's coming out today? It hasn't been uploaded yet.Northern Verve said:Lario said:Some people act like all the episodes are just like the ones from the first line you listed.
