Yeah I noticed a lot of people said MLP after posting that. Either way, I was just being cautious.

This is less "overrated" and more of "I'm in the wrong demographic for this", but I really don't like Dragonball Z. It's just so boring! Although I might not like it because I'm a girl, and Dragonball Z is quite obviously a boy's show. Not even a gender-neutral one.

If DBZ bores you, try Dragon Ball Z Kai. It's essentially a remake of dbz but uses the same animation and actors. It cuts out most of the filler that makes the show drag.

But I needed all 87 episodes of Goku fighting vegeta (including all 15 that involve him trying to make the spirit bomb

I don't remember it taking even a full episode for Goku to form that Spirit Bomb, since Vegeta interrupted it. Not to mention the fact that Goku's battle against him wasn't even half as long as the one he had with Frieza.

Oh yeah, the Frieza fight was so goddamn long. Someone did the math. The fight took up four hours of screen time.

Keep in mind, that's just Frieza fighting Goku. It doesn't take the earlier fighting into account.

Maybe a minute takes longer on where ever the hell Frieza comes from (also there is no reason for him to understand the concept of an earth minute)

You have to remember that Goku and Frieza are moving at unbelievable speeds. If we were there, we wouldn't be able to see them. They're fighting speed is too fast for a normal human eye.
