Well, do you support remakes, though? Stuff like Super Mario Bros. 3, I can't really play if it weren't for remakes and emulators. I was a late N64-era person, being born in 1995.Zae Eildus said:id prefer if they did stop
most of the time its just games that 90% of the world has already played
kind of a pity they didnt use their resources to bring unlocalized games into other countries via vc, but oh well.
True, they could've gone with that but nooo it's like they want their rare games to never be heard of again, despite their potential quality (and that some have cult followings, just imagine if they satisfy those people).Zae Eildus said:yeah but these are just ports, remakes are one thing, but ports are just so meager
i guess i can understand if someone wants to play for first time or something, but why cant they bring over games that never really got any recognition?
rare games, unlocalized, i mean there is so much potential for the vc but its like its just flat out abandoned in most cases.
Although i do appreciate the 3ds vc having shantae, but thats it really.
this is extremely misleadingPaul Heyman said:http://www.thegamescabin.com/news-nintendo-abandons-virtual-console-trademark/

GAF says the trademark they abandoned had nothing to do with video game software sales, just merchandise
so if you were expecting virtual console napkins then I'm sorry for your loss, but Virtual Console games aren't going anywhere

doesn't this technically mean they can't sell the download codes in stores like gamestop or whatever anymore? or does games refer to digital and 'physical'?
