Control the Throne II

"DON'T DO IT!" cried a voice, echoing from one of the halls. Blue Koop entered the room, fully armed, with two other army members, one a hammerbro, and another was Pikax, one other member in Bowserpedia's history. "This man will only take the throne for himself" Blue Koop continued. "If you help him get the throne, he will use it to take over the planet, and kill you all himself. He is weak, he is selfish, and worst of all, it won't have been his fault." Blue Koop walked over to Fawful and put his hand on his shoulder. He leaned in to talk to him.

"Fawful, you must see reason. This throne is not normal. It will destroy you. There is something you can do though. Help us get rid of this throne. Help us win in this war. Then you can go back to ruling this planet in whatever you please." Blue Koop's words were sincere. Fawful, however, was not amused. "You can be throwing these poisonous words at my heart and my brain, but my heart is protected by an epic bulletproof shield of death, and my brain is protected by ME! I will not join you in this silly quest of silliness!"

"Very well." responded BK. "Madikoopa! Don't give in to this madness! It is a poisonous dream. You know it, and so does he. But his dream will turn into a nightmare. You will not get the throne, it needs to be destroyed! What say you?"

EDIT: Forgot to read above post. :P

Madikoopa turned to see the armymen. "How do I know you aren't trying to take the throne for yourself?" she asked suspiciously. "We have no proof that the throne is evil. What could a measly piece of furniture do?"

"Listen," Madikoopa said, exasperated. "I hardly know you, and yet you break into my room with a slew of weapons telling me that the throne has some sort of evil curse put on it or something. Why should I trust you?"

"And that is exactly why I'm leaving right now," Madikoopa didn't sound as if she would change her mind anytime soon. She searched through a wooden chest in the corner of the room. "I may not have a wand, but I've got the next best thing," she said, holding up a crude-looking machine. "It's a ray-gun thingy...I haven't exactly thought of a name for it yet." Fawful cocked his head at Madikoopa's weapon; he had made much more advanced weapons in his career, and judging by the relatively simple design of this one, the young Magikoopa was obviously an amateur at the trade. Madikoopa sensed his disdain and jumped in to defend her creation. "I know it looked like a piece of junk, but trust me, I think we'll be needing this. And as long as it works - which it does, by the way, I've tested it - we'll be fine! We'd best be going, now," she said, hinting that the armymen should do the same. "We've got a throne to find!"

"Oh, but will it really work, Madikoopa, since this... machine is out of order? It was very easy for me to break it, as I have my loyal servants disguised, and in hiding all around this planet? "

"Follow me and I can prove it to you. Just don't trust him. He managed to take down a whole keep just to get the throne, look, his face is on the ship!"

Madikoopa raised her eyebrow suspiciously. "Alright," she said reluctantly. "But remember, I'm armed. And none of this will change my opinion of Fawful, he saved me from the Koopa Troop; I owe him."

"You're the whole reason I'm taking him with us." Blue Koop exclaimed. "In fact, I'm almost certain you know what I'm going to show him. I'm sorry, but for your own safety, I must request that you stay behind."

That was the precise conversation that Blue Koop gave to Fawful. With that, Blue Koop and the gang departed for the Great Barrows. About half way, Blue Koop noticed Fawful, but he did not speak of it. He knew that Fawful was just as curious as Madikoopa was. They arrived at the great barrows. All around them was dark, mist, and stones, as far as the eye could see. Madikoopa thought he saw a figure dash by from time to time, but dismissed it as eye tricks.

They soon arrived at a large stone block with markings on it. It closed off a small stone hut. Blue Koop spoke a strange phrase at the large stone block, and the block lit up from the markings, and immediately shifted, revealing a long passageway down to the depths.

Upon entry, the group headed down a flight of stairs, into a large, but wrecked, and seemingly deserted underground city of halls. The group then suddenly turned to see a mysterious figure approach them. It had a grim look on its face. It was a ghost. The ghost flew right at them, and stopped, before doing something nobody else expected.

"VISITORS!!!" it exclaimed. "WELCOME TO THE GREAT BARROWS!!" As soon as he was done talking, a hundred and fifty other ghosts came flying out to greet them, each of them holding ghostly wares that they wished to sell to the group. Immediately, a large crash was heard from the top of the stairwell, and the ghosts quietly departed. InfectedShroom, the wizard of Death, was standing up the stairs.

"Come this way, fair passengers." he said in his loud yet serene voice. "We have much to show." The group, led by Blue Koop, headed up the stairs. They found themselves meeting with Neptune and Javelin, who had been there for a while. "Ah, Blue Koop. You brought him then?" he began. "Yes sir." Blue Koop responded. "It wasn't easy, but I managed to persuade him to come along in favour of Fawful's request."

"Excellent!" exclaimed Neptune. "Come this way, Madikoopa. I believe you were promised the truth." Neptune led Madikoopa into a back room. While he was in there, Fawful slowly approached. "Welcome Fawful." Blue Koop stated, as Fawful meekly appeared. Pikax was already on his guard, but Blue Koop gestured quickly to lower his arms. "With two wizards in the vicinity, I doubt he will try anything stupid." Blue Koop responded.

After fourty or so minutes, Neptune and Madikoopa came out of the room, Madikoopa with a satisfied look on his face. Madikoopa quickly took his place at the table alongside InfectedShroom, Javelin and the Hammerbro. He looked at Fawful, with his face dropping. He then turned away from him. Fawful quickly approached Neptune, to ask "What did you show him?" Fawful had a very sincere look in his eyes. "The future" responded Neptune. He too led Fawful into the room.

As Fawful entered, a very satisfied look appeared on his face. A bright light shone from a pedestal, and something came into view. Forged of gold, cushions made of fabrics from the softest sorts, there it rested, the item that everyone had been searching for. The throne. Fawful gained a greedy look on his face, and before he could do anything, Neptune simply stated "Sit." Confused, Fawful simply looked at Neptune, then slowly got up onto the pedestal, and took his seat upon the throne.

Immediately, Fawful saw a vision approach. All around him, statues were dedicated to him, armies of beings which bore his face surrounded him, all under his command. Best of all, Neptune, Madikoopa, and everyone else had all perished in the battle. There was nothing to stop Fawful from keeping the throne. Fawful became immensely cheerful, everything he had ever wanted appeared as he sat on the throne.

Suddenly, everything stopped. Then everything went cold. Then everything went dark. Suddenly, all the monuments built in Fawful's honour began to crumble and break. All of his armies began to wage war on each-other, and suddenly dark invaders began to appear. They all attacked his men, killing and pillaging. To his best of knowledge, none of the dark invaders took any damage. That was their power. Something arose from the darkness. Something huge, demonic, Fawful could not quite see. It frightened him, despite the fact he could not see what kind of creature it was. Fawful was so horrified that he jumped up from the throne, tripped, and landed safely into Neptune's arms.

Fawful simply stared up, straight at Neptune, with a frightened look on his face. Neptune knew what Fawful saw, for he had experienced it himself. Fawful decided that the visions that he saw must be affected by whoever sits upon the throne, what would occur should someone sit upon the throne, but he was wrong. It was what people expect to see, which is why Neptune, Fawful and Madikoopa all saw the same vision. Fawful only had one question to ask. "What was that great demon?"

"That demon is the one who created the throne." Neptune responded. "He created it in the darkest reaches of the world, and used it to lure himself back into the world. He set it in my own continent, knowing the past of our turbulent history. War, violence, pain, he saw it all. He agreed that it would be a place where everyone would want to steal the throne. Once someone was corrupted enough by the throne, he would rise again, and rule over this planet, enslaving us all for eternity, bringing hell on earth." Neptune turned towards Fawful. "That is why you must not try to steal the throne. It is tempting, but you cannot face the ultimate darkness."

NOTE: I'm a girl

Madikoopa was horrified by Fawful's reaction, certain that he'd been intoxicated by the power of the throne. She had legions of questions to ask, but somehow they all knotted inside her throat. After recovering from the shock, she turned to the large Dragon-Koopa. "Is this what's going to become of us?" she asked. "Are we all going to become slaves of the throne?"

Tantusar was still alone. He was waiting for the right moment to press the button. Not yet, not yet... NOW! Darkness... No, no! Please, I beg of you, leave me! Consumes... Ahhhhhh, the paaaaaaaaain! Bunnies. Ahhhhhh- Wait, what? Oh, well that's alright then.

Blinding light. Darkness. Then nothing.

Confused? It'll make sense later!

Oh my word, I am so sorry! I didn't check your profile, I've got to remember to do that! Sorrysorrysorry xP

Fawful, back at his castle, content with his throne, sat there, waiting for the ultimate power to enslave his body. However, nothing happened. He looked around. There were no tall monuments to him, no armies about him. Nothing happened. Fawful looked anxiously around him. He began to get angry. "Nnggg...WHERE ARE THE MONUMENTS?! WHERE IS THE FAWFUL?! WHERE IS MY POWER?!" he screamed across the room. Two of his older servants entered, and one of them examined the throne. They looked back up towards Fawful. "Uhhh...." One of the servants could barely speak. He knew how much Fawful would hate to hear this. "M-My lord.....This.....isn't the throne...."

"WHAT?!" Fawful questioned, screaming at the top of his lungs. "W-well...." the servant continued, "it's got...the royal insignia of B-Bowserpedia on it..." Fawful then realised. Neptune's throne! He was cunning. Neptune had realised that someday he would need two copies of the throne, so in his haste, he grabbed his own throne. (Check back at my first post, I did sit on a throne!) Fawful let out a bloodcurdling scream, which was heard for miles and miles around.

Back at the Barrow Downs, Madikoopa was panicking. She had already heard that Fawful had taken the throne, and she already knew what would happen, should Fawful take the throne for himself. Neptune calmed her down with these words. "I switched the thrones." he said, simply. "The real throne is right here." Neptune pulled out a sack from behind a cabinet. InfectedShroom revealed that he had hid it there.

"One of my more ingenious inventions" stated InfectedShroom, proudly. "Nobody ever bothers to check behind cabinets for thrones these days." Neptune then suddenly intervened. "Pardon my interruption, but it is likely that Fawful will have figured out by now that his throne is not real. We must make haste, and get this throne to the order. Where to first?"

"Henrydamoose now holds his residence at Lake Town in Tarleen lake. It is covered by a swarm of trees, so it is highly unlikely that anyone will find us there. We've dodged a bullet, Neptune. Your quick thinking only just saved us from a world ruled over by that demon." Everyone quickly got packed and ready to leave. Madikoopa then approached Neptune. "If that wasn't the real throne, was what you showed me the truth?" Neptune turned around to Madikoopa. "I managed to control some of the dark power that rested within the throne, and place it within my own throne. The power was cut off, and immediately dying. By the time that Fawful took it back to his castle to sit on it, all the dark power would have been gone. Everything I showed you was the truth. Now come on, it's a long trip through the tunnels." Those final words prompted Madikoopa to get ready as fast as she could.

NSY was ordered by the British prime minister to arrest Neptune and take the throne from him. NSY went to the castle and found Lord Neptune sitting on his throne. He then called the prime minister that he had found Neptune and called the police to arrest him. Neptune that got angry and went for NSY. NSY and Neptune fought hard but the fight stopped when the police had arrived. The police took Neptune away. NSY sat on his newly claimed throne. The Lake Town had be saved from the evil Neptune.

as far as I'm aware, that's too simple
