If Pokémon were real, would you support it?

Many of us like playing Pokémon, but a majority of us don't like animal cruelty. I was curious, so I made this thread.
 
I guess. If Pokemon enjoy their battles... Why not.

By observing their reactions after a battle perhaps.

But in reality, it'd be impossible to tell.
 
Pokémon are not animals. They're important tools for keeping our criminal enterprise going.

I see what you mean by animal cruelty, because some people compare Pokemon to dogfighting and cockfighting. which I said in a previous Thread that I'm neutral about what people do to animals unless they're endangered or threatened. So I guess I'll support it, but I like 99% of all captured Pokemon like to fight anyways. Besides, there are some Pokemon that are smarter than humans, so it's less like animal fighting and more like advanced human fighting (I'm looking at you Alakazam).

just imagine cod with pokemon soldiers. just imagine...
but if the pokemon like mashing eachothers brains out and i dont get stuck in mud or snow, then im cool with it
 
afaik pokemon enjoy battling because it brings them closer together to their trainer

as long as the trainer isn't abusing them or anything, they honestly don't mind

i'm not a pokemon though so i'm just assuming
