Yes, but those could all easily fit into pockets (I know because I have tried). This one, being essentially a permanently open 3DS design-wise, does not look like it could fit into a pocket unless they made it much smaller than the 3DS.

It comes with a case, I figure any 3DS-sized (not XL) screen protectors would fit on it, and you can't break hinges if they aren't there.
