I have a friend who always plays as Kirby, and always gets me in his pot no matter how far away I am....

Don't run away, do a rolling dodge, air dodge or sidestep dodge.

Its hard to do that, cause the pot sucks things in at slightly different times, it seems.

Wolf, Olimar, Falco, Ike are my favorites.

(Even if Ike's isn't as effective, it's just satisfying to get other people and watch as they gain damage... especially fun in multiplayer)

If you get caught in the first attack, it is almost guaranteed to be a KO.
