Disney Land

My family and I finally got to fulfill our lifelong wish to go there this past summer. I was the only kid I knew never to have been there. Have you been or would like to go?

I've been to Disney World, not Disney Land. Which I mean, they're pretty similar anyway.

Get to go back a second time this spring for band too!

You can talk about either one World or Land.

Now there needs to be a real life Mario World and Land amusment park.

Might go to Florida during Thanksgiving, not sure about Disneyland although I would definitely want to go.
I believe I've been to Land when I was 5 and World when I was 7 or 8.

YES

"The Happiest Place on Earth" is the greatest irony for my sister and I there. In fact, I usually feel really miserable whenever I go to Disney Land. One time, I remember, it was on a rainy day. We were pretty damn unhappy that day and that made me hugely dislike it.

And whenever I go to Disney Land, the only thing I feel like I'm actually doing there is waiting hours for only a few rides that feel like seconds long.

BLOF, you should consider using Fastpass.

And fork up extra cash for rides that barely amuse me? No thanks.

Oh man, DisneyWorld is great. We go there multiple times a year and it feels like a second home to us. The good part is that my dad has a Guest Assistance Pass so we can get in the FastPass line for each ride, so I don't have to worry about those godawful lines. Not to mention we used to get free admission when my mother worked there in the early 2000s.

We're gonna take a break from Disney next year though since we don't want it to get too stale. We're gonna try replacing our Disney binge with Universal next year since we haven't been there since 2009 (save for the one time we went earlier this year).

What is the difference between Land and World anyway?

One is handheld, the other is on the main Nintendo consoles.

LOL, I'm pretty sure she meant the theme parks.
I don't know either, except they're on different coasts and Land is a lot bigger (in both size and attendance)

DisneyLand is way better than DisneyWorld

Super Mario World is way better than Super Mario Land

Opposite ^

Been to the one on Orlando twice, I was 6 first time, 7 second time, both times I enjoyed it, but both times I went Blizzard Beach was closed. We may be going again in a few years

ive... never been to disney land or world or whatever before

im not sure id want to go to be honest, as theme parks are really expensive and usually have some seriously big lines, as im pretty impatient so yeah.

what disneyland are you talking about

world's 47 square miles in total, the size of san francisco.

disneyland's barely .8 of a square mile.

The Magic Kingdom alone is bigger than Disneyland. In fact, only Tokyo Disneyland is bigger than the Magic Kingdom. EPCOT is also in the top ten.

IMO the bigger, the more pain in the ass it is to get to the rides you want to be on

seriously.

most of it is undeveloped, so it inflates the total, but the property is indeed 47 square miles total.

I don't even live in a town but
