Bowser's Army vs Modern Earth Military

My interpretation is that while everything exploded, the characters managed to survive the explosion, but they fainted. Then, they woke in front of Peach's castle. But again, I'm not sure what exactly happened. All I see is some explosion and then after that, Mario floating in front of an oversized Rosalina talking about the star cycle. And then, Mario wakes with a low-poly model of a butterfly on his head.

It definitely looked to me like the Lumas had to re-create something, but what happened is anyone's guess I suppose.

Which means you can't use it to prove Bowser to be able to survive a thermonuclear weapon.

Maybe Bowser and the Mushroom Kingdom was created by a thermonuclear weapon like the land of Ooo.

i mean a bunch of super powered army could be hard to take down with just our realistic weapons and such.
