Your headcanons

Super Mario Maker is canon and everyone who owns the game exists as a god in the Mario universe who each rules over a domain that they created. The nature of these domains depends on the god who rules over it.

So Mario Sports Superstars shows Metal Mario taking off his cap.

Since the Metal Cap is supposed to be the item that makes Mario metal, he wouldn't be able to take it off without reverting back to normal. This proves my head canon that Metal Mario is actually a robot true.

Why a robot would have a detachable hat, I'm still trying to work out.

My headcanon is that Baby Luigi is not great at sports, mostly because it's pretty much his first time playing and he's rather uncoordinated, at least, compared to Baby Mario.

Peach has great physical strength, seeing how effortlessly she can swing a frying pan with one hand in SSB4 and carry a Brolder in 3D World. Her strength doesn't match that of Mario and Luigi however.

Peach and Zelda are great friends, judging by their interactions in the SSE.

Is that really just a headcanon, though? It's pretty much all but directly confirmed in-game. In the beginning cutscene for Super Smash Bros., Master Hand does the "3, 2, 1" just like the announcer does before a fight.

Bump.

Only characters with caps get Metal Caps out of Metal Boxes. Other characters get other articles of clothing. Peach would get a Metal Crown, Yoshi a Metal Saddle, Bowser a Metal Shell, etc. I'd get Metal Glasses.

Except that the Marioverse is no stranger to parallel universes and travelling between them, as long as you build up enough speed.

Just in case anyone wanted to be sad today...

Peach's and Bowser's respective parents were killed in the Shroob invasion.

Wrinkly Kong is Donkey Kong's grandmother

That's not a headcanon that's actually canon.

a significant part of mario's life is a drug induced hallucination that was caused by eating too many mushrooms

his friends keep trying to convince him that there's not actually such a place as new york, but he insists he grew up there. he used to claim he was born there, but then princess peach pointed out to him that the village where his parents live doesn't look like how he described 'brooklyn' at all. since then he's started claiming that when he was a baby his parents shipped him to a parallel universe to protect him from kamek, and he only accidentally found his way back as an adult

nobody understands why he's so insistent about all of this, since none of it really makes any sense. luigi has learned to just smile and nod whenever his brother starts telling people stories about their italian heritage
Wow Vinny has the same headcanon but with roles reversed pretty much.

yes df. that is the joke. i am making fun of "mario is actually grimdark because he's really just a normal plumber who gets high and hallucinates having adventures" headcanons, because they are everywhere, and they are stupid. thank you for explaining the joke

*guttural* Glad I'm not the only who unintentionally explains jokes...

I haven't seen it in any official material.
Wrinkly Kong is Cranky Kong's wife and officially Cranky Kong is DK's grandfather

Bowser and King K. Rool don't like each other because they want to prove who's the best reptilian king.
bowser could just end that argument by fiat, by redefining 'reptile' as 'lepidosauromorph' under the guise of giving the term weight.

Bowser doesn't drive a Fiat though. He drives a Clown Car.

I would love to see someone make art of Bowser trying to fit into a Fiat.
