HD remakes of GameCube games

With the release of Wind Waker HD, some wonder if Nintendo will remake other GameCube games. What games would you like to see remade in HD? My thoughts on some of the best-sellers:

Super Smash Bros Melee- unnecessary, as SSB4 is being released
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!- unnecessary, as Mario Kart 8 is being released
Super Mario Sunshine- yes
Wind Waker- already made
Luigi's Mansion- yes
Animal Crossing- maybe
Mario Party 4- no
Metroid Prime- YES!
Pokémon Colosseum- I don't care
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle- That's already a remake. It would be kinda redundant.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door- HOLY SHIT YES!
 
Gonna use the same list as yours, along with my own.

SSBM - No; I like having each SSB on their own console.
MK: DD!! - Same with the SSB thing.
SMS - I would love it as long as they fixed that damn camera stuff. Gelato Beach still pisses me off...
WW - Done. :)
LM - Heck, even if on VC, I would still as excited as though it was an HD remaster.
AC - I dunno about that...
MP4/5/6/7 - No. Though VC would be nice like they did with MP2.
MP - Never played so No Opinion.
PC - No...more for VC.
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle - I see it more of a VC as well.
PM: TTYD - Actually, I have to say No on this one. I think that PM: TTYD (heck, all PMs except the original) are perfectly glorious with the art and color and I think that it wouldn't be that impactful or make that much of a difference.
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: I say maybe.
Zelda: Twilight Princess (Yes, there was one for GC): That would be awesome to see it with better graphics. Probably would make the game feel like it did when I first saw it in 2004. Honestly though, I like the Wii version better.
Four Swords Adventure: VC only please.
Pikmin 1 & 2: ...I dunno. Part of me says that it would be fine as just VC stuff, but another part of me says that it would be so cool to see that happen with graphics like Pikmin 3 and bring the younger audience to really enjoy it (plus it probably could just be a 1 disc game). However, part of me says that it would probably be more time between Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 4.
 
Yes, all of it, or just let us play them on the Wii u virtual console.

A Melee remake would'nt be that bad of idea considering SSB4 is still about a year off before we get to play it. Not only that but it's getting harder to find used copy's of melee without having to pay an arm and a leg.

The SSB super never be remade. I think that people would realize the consequences of it when they see that SSB4 has been bumped back to 2016 due to the SSBM remaster....

Fine as a VC though, but I think Melee is just fine as it is. Not everything should be redone though.

The main reason why Wind Waker was redone was mostly to show off the changes that there are from one console to another. Another was just to have a Wii U Zelda game out for the fans to play while they for Zelda U and so that they can help with the sales of the Wii U.
 
Paper Mario 2 would be awesome, since I just love that game.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance too.

Or at least get some of these on the eshop.

I have to agree here. I can still play through PM: TTYD today and it still looks great. I think it's the overall style that just makes it so that it doesn't really matter whether it's HD or not. It just looks good.

I can say the same with Metroid Prime, I think the trilogy version looks great still so I don't really think a HD remake is absolutely necessary. Although it would look great if they did.

Honestly though, if they decide to re-release a game in HD it's only a plus, whether I think it's necessary or not. Everything looks pretty in HD.

for starters: the team that made wind waker HD did in 6 months, making a gamecube to wii u converter, which was basically redo all the textures first

then use the converter to change the original textures to the new ones

also, melee only took a year to develop

if you were asking me, i'd say if nintendo really wanted to, they could get an HD remaster of melee done in about 3 months

1-2 months for redoing all the textures

and another month to convert it all over
 
I wouldn't mind a Sunshine remake if they let Yoshi swim and make Luigi and DK playable.

I don't really see much point in remaking TTYD. The game was good enough as it was.
 
I'd love to see a custom robo or tales of symphonia remake.

Both would be good since i do like both but they could be pretty awesome looking with reworked textures and some tweaking.
 
I think the games that would benefit the most would be Twilight Princess, Mario Sunshine, and Metroid Prime. (I also really want these in HD)
 
I would seriously love to see either of the 2 GCN Metroid Primes or F-Zero GX re-released in HD. That would be godly. Super Mario Sunshine would work really well as an HD remake too; they could do a lot of things to improve it alongside the graphics adjustment, as they did with Wind Waker HD.
