Confirmed Assist Trophies

Cuccos are in the game! ...Though it wasn't said if they're Assist Trophies or not. Apparently the Super Smash Bros. Wiki is being all cautious, saying Cucco is confired to be in the game, but it hasn't been confirmed what capacity it'll appear in. I think it's obvious that it's an Assist Trophy, given that we see Toon Link there (Cuccos don't appear in The Wind Waker), the stage is the Animal Crossing stage, and I can't really see any of the other Zelda characters having their moveset changed to incorporate such a bizarre attack.
 
I'm leaning towards it being just an item myself, but it's possible that it's an assist trophy
 
That's cool... I guess. Gosh, I hate these daily screenshots where I don't have much to say about them.

Just updated the OP with all the new assist trophies shown yesterday. Quite a selection.

Also, anyone notice that Waluigi is counted as a Wario series trophy now?

it means the wario series is being represented i mean sure not another playable slot or something but its much better then not being there period.

also i was glad midna was there, although i knew she would never be a playable character.

ugh yes, so many good assist trophies and so many bad ones.

SmashWiki has it listed as Mario.
