The official "I hate this game" thread

Re: The official Rant and Rave thread

I don't CARE if they're the best games ever, they're so anti-consumer and yet STILL so popular I have no choice but to hate its very existence.

Re: The official Rant and Rave thread

I have it, they need to update it more often

I'm waiting for PS vita version of it

Re: The official Rant and Rave thread

This is also the Rave thread. Let's think of the positives.

I really appreciate how detail is emphasized in the latest Mario Kart 8. I also wish that good games with cult status deserve more attention, and it makes them feel more special somehow.

The need a Mario Kart game with an actual storyline.

Re: The official Rant and Rave thread

^^Ala Diddy Kong Racing? Sure, why not? Mario Kart 8 can do without it as well, but it would be nice driving around in a hub world.

Storylines hardly happen in mainstream Mario games. For "sport" spin-offs, forget it. I'll give you like $50 if a Mario Kart game has a storyline.

I'd rather have no storyline than a story that's just slapped in and is incredibly cheesy

I don't think that is real.

Because it isn't. Why is "fantendo" the site name

Of corse irs a joke.

Re: The official Rant and Rave thread

So last week I played through Super Paper Mario, and then I played Bowser's Inside Story, now Thousand-Year Door

It got me wishing for an impossible game to exist but I would think it would be AWESOME for a crossover between the two. They could call it Paper Mario & Luigi, and it could be similar to Sonic Generations except the player would be able to actually explore all of the lands. And you could have all the partners and bosses from both games, as well as new features. Ever wanted Luigi to fight along with Mario against Doopliss? You can do that. How about a paper Fawful, its there too.

I could go on, but I better stop because reality kicks in

Note, I mean between both series not just one game from each

No it wasn't. Sonic Gens is a tribute to Sonic games, past and present, while Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is a new world with time travel elements, instead of Sonic Gens' other world.

well the game does use time travel though, but not quite the same as m&lpit.

plus partners in time is an rpg anyway, unlike generations.

There's a huge difference

Sonic Generations LACKS Baby Luigi

Partners in Time HAS Baby Luigi

Therefore, Partners in Time is the far more superior game
