So what's with Rosalina recently?

Because she has a cult following that Nintendo likes to cater to
 
I'm sure her sudden appearances lead to Super Mario Galaxy 3 being made and being revealed in this year's E3. It's the only logical reason I can think of. It can't be "We just like her, now she'll appear everywhere" when she has been around modestly since 2007.

Please no. For the love of life, please no more Super Mario Galaxy. It's going to taint my view on it even further.
 
I've said it before: I do want Super Mario Galaxy 3 to exist AS LONG AS it's a brand new game and not just an expansion of the previous one, like 2 was.

Basically what I want is them to pull a Banjo-Tooie. Brand new moves, a new engine, new story, brand new worlds, brand new literally everything, including voice acting, to make the game feel new.

This, although another "expansion pack to Galaxy" wouldn't affect me in the slightest. I'd still play it because we need a mainline Mario that has some dialogue and backstory badly now.
 
I don't want another Mario game set in space. I want something else.
 
Like a Mario game in a micro world, with Mario jumping on atoms. That would be awesome.

I would also like to see a puzzle-focused Mario.

If my memory didn't go wrong, I thought she was almost forgotten between Mario Kart 6 and 7, or this thread wouldn't have appeared.

Both being forgotten and being overused are not good things. As you said, the most ideal result should be that everyone can be around everywhere.

Can you guys imagine Dragon Mario? Or Dragon Luigi? Or Dragon Rosalina? Letting them fly AND breathe fire at the same time. That, of course, would be a power-up for a more open game like Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine. The same for Shark Mario. Those power-ups would be so cool :')

well i can only remember that dragon boss from smg2.

Unless you count bowser as a dragon.
 
You could. There's also the dragons from TTYD and SPM that are pretty easy. First two bosses in Superstar Saga, maybe less in first boss, could be counted as dragons. There's probably more, but I can't think right now.

If there is one adjective that cannot be applied to Bonetail, it would be "easy".

bonetail was a joke

i mean maybe because ive played atlus rpgs that are beyond harder then anything from mario rpgs, but i was not impressed in the slightest with bonetail.

Honestly getting to him was infinitely harder.
