I hate with a passion choosing which Zelda game is my favorite, because I can't decide. It's harder than naming the best pony. I'll go with Twilight Princess.

but honestly if i had to pick just one itd be the original bc its what got me into the series

Majora's Mask, by virtue of having a world that feels organic and alive, and NPCs I actually care about.

It's so far the only Zelda where I want to save the world for the sake of the world itself, instead of just because the plot demands it.

Game was fascinating to me, great visuals, music, and i liked a lot of the worlds and especially the dungeons.

plus it has really funny crap like how you can beat a boss by releasing a bee you caught.
 
Ocarina of Time, followed by The Wind Waker and A Link to the Past.

Wind Waker, with Majora's Mask coming in a close second, and Skyward Sword a close third.

Mostly because it was the first one I played. Skyward Sword second, Majora's Mask third. I still need to complete Wind Waker before I rank it.
 
Due to the fact I've only played Phantom Hourglass, that. However, I will start playing Wind Waker HD soon so my opinion is likely to change

From what I played of Wind Waker HD, it's excellent. You should start playing it now.

i really enjoy the combat, gameplay in general, music is great, plot isn't too bad, and i actually enjoy sailing around blowing up random monsters and stuff.
