What's causing the crashing? You can try a new mod of Mr. L, because custom music SHOULDN'T crash anything.

I dunno, but I can only add one song or I only get a blank screen after the "now loading" sign. I got Ultimate Show into Final Destination once, but it plays super-fast and when I did it again it randomly froze, once on Character Select and once on the Title Screen. Project M is the only way for me to load anything as far as I can tell, since everything else seems to require a hacked Wii, which I attempted with MKW only to get a freeze

Also yes, I like playing as Mario characters but I do occasionally play as King Dedede, Lucario or someone else

Something is going on in your Wii, then. I've played Ultimate Show over Hanenbow... runs like a charm. Added 20+ minute custom music in a single slot. Works totally fine. Maybe you need a .rel file for the Ultimate Show? I don't know what you're trying to do, but it seems like you weren't following the directions correctly, using outdated programs, or maybe missing some essential files? Your problems probably need to be specified.

What I did was take the Ultimate Show BRSTM directly from a Super Paper Mario ISO, and rename it to X05 and add it to projectm\pf\sound\strm on the SD card. Is this wrong?
 
Here is my updated list:

(in order of most to least)

SSBB: Kirby, Ike, Olimar, Marth, Mario, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff more so for fun.

SSBM: Pikachu/Pichu, Marth, Roy, Samus, Young Link, Mario/Dr. Mario, and Jigglypuff for the same reason.

I'd recommend downloading the song from here and placing it on your sd card as normal. That's the way I've been doing it and I've never had any problems.

Also, I've started taking a liking to ROB. His boosters are a lot of fun to mess around with.

Something sounds wrong. Maybe you should convert it to .wav and then reconvert back to BRSTM via BrawlBox.

What I do is take my .mp3 files, convert them to .wav, and then use BrawlBox to convert it to BRSTMs.

This worked, thanks! I guess it was just the BRSTM itself that was the problem? Because everything I've gotten here works like a charm. I replaced the Menu theme with Flipside and one of the Dracula Castle themes with Doopliss Battle. (the latter of which I haven't tested however)

EDIT: Well one song didn't go too well. Gloam Valley randomly cuts to Ultimate Show and then some peaceful music before cutting back to the actual song for some reason. It's a shame too because I got the Gloam Valley custom stage and I wanted the song to go with it.

On topic, when I'm maining Wario I usually pit him against 3 King Dededes in a heavily-walled custom stage and let the fun begin.
