An action RPG focuses more on combat than the average RPG but focuses less on combat than a hack-and-slash with RPG elements. A hack-and-slash with RPG elements could be considered a sub-type of action RPG.

Action rpgs though are pretty much hack n slash rpgs though.

Although games like darksiders 2 or tales of graces f fit the category more due to being more action game like with actual focused combat with slight rpg elements.

Although blof im surprised you mentioned diablo 2, which isnt too bad of a game.

Too bad titan quest immortal throne and torchlight 2 make it look like a bad joke at this point.
 
A portion of the first one, before sitting in the corner and crying because I couldn't solve the puzzles aimed at 10yr olds.
 
i think that (for me, at least) unwound/lost future is probably one of the easiest, and i think it's mostly regarded as the best in the series.

Oh, I was in a household where the male members at the time knew about how great Blizzard was, with Starcraft, Warcraft, and Diablo, so I heard about their wisdom.

Platformers I guess. I can't beat Cave Story. I just... can't.

personally the final boss of cave story is actually pretty hard, not to mention the side area that you can do, which is also very hard.

Then again im not good at platformers either so haha.
 
I can't even get to the final boss. I got stuck at the battle agains whatsherface. The girl with the ambiguous haircolor, who hangs out with the talking lunch box.
 
Pokémon, at least when I'm battling other humans, especially since my strategy is just attack head on.

3D Mario games. There are some missions that are too ridiculously difficult for me.

Megaman Battle Network, I'm not particularly good at keeping my eye on the whole battlefield and I'm pretty unlucky when the game doesn't give me the chips I need to pull of program advances.

Possible. It's been a while since I played the game. All I remember is that it gets very depressing very fast, you have to jump through a lot of cryptic hoops to get the good ending, and King is the best character.

well to be honest blizzard has been ruined for quite awhile, although im not sure how good diablo 3 is though. Although the reception is pretty bad.

oh yeah me too. I mean im usually good until later bosses, but final bosses usually make me panic.

Good games though and fantastic music.

oh so true, guess its not that big of a deal to me though as i always have like 70 games to play but lol.

There are other problems with blizzard then that though.
 
I play only a select few games and the servers going down would be devastating.

I dunno what else Blizzard has problems: was the fact it got bought by Activision one of them?

pretty much.

If memory serves activision actually acted on WoW with some expansions, and may have had influence on diablo 3.

But i guess thats more speculations, but every since they joined with activision blizzard has been getting worse.
