Trans Formers Age of Extinction

i like explosions, robots, and tits

i happen to be the target audience

the fact that it's transformers is simply a bonus
*walks in drunk*

woohoo!!!

I also fit mostly to the target audience, I think
but I find the fact the films are basically just recruitment adds very annoying
and I prefer good plot in movies, which the second and third film lacked and the first frankly didn't have an amazing plot

well you won't typically find the most amazing plots in transformers.

Its the characters that really standout though. g1 comics, beast wars, and prime are all examples of this.

Quite frankly i never thought the series would work as just reboot movies anyway as there are so many characters in the transformers universe.

Although the 1980's movie was succesful but really it was after the 1980's series had ended.

beast wars and prime are and probably always will be the best shows imo

probably.

Unless the writers of prime team up again and make something else, which could be possible.

I really hope that happens, man I love prime

well i said it before but i guess its fine to say again, theres been talk of the prime writers doing a prequel to prime showing how the conflict on cybertron started.

Which is interesting seeing how it went up in exodus and exiles.

the whole thing about being the "target audience" was me dicking around, but that doesn't change the fact that i loved the movies

i don't know why

it's probably cause i love gawking at the 3d models. i'd love to see how they'd redo galvatron or unicron or such

they probably would die in the movie almost immediately since the movies are purely about the humans, optimus, and bumble bee.

Plus the only movie design i like is optimus, well aside from his actual mouth that makes him look like he's a mechanical insect.

i'm willing to bet on a "ghost of starscream" thing since they blew his god damned face off

what about megatron?

his death made me want to kill someone.

Seems like most that died in the 2nd and 3rd movie had really stupid deaths.

Although megatrons is probably the worst.

When I want to watch a Transformers movie, I want to watch a Transformers movie

I don't want to hear about some idiot getting his first car and family crap like that.

What exactly defines a Transformers movie, though?

If you don't count the live action ones, there's only one to draw context from.

Admitted, humans always end up being the worst part of the franchise.

Well, the Prime series and Beast Wars are great examples of what I think should be Transformers movies. Put more focus on the robots, less focus on the humans.

pretty much.

I mean even in prime the humans are the less focused, although there are moments when they prove to be useful.

But regardless the focus on the bots almost the entire time.

in the live action movies the only bots that seemed to matter was optimus and bumblebee.

even megatron got the shaft on them, which sucks.
