Super Mario 64 DS ftw.
Neither Super Mario Galaxy Game was really that good but 2 was better than 1.
I prefer the open detailed worlds of the non-Galaxy games.
I prefer having strategy in my playing like how there was strategy is choosing the route you took to get a star in Super Mario 64 (DS).
Only problem with Super Mario 64 is that it is obliterated by Super Mario 64 DS.

Super mario galax6 is a very fun game and i liked it a lot. It was a game wheere mario had to get out of the mushroom kingdom and go save the pricness in the center of the universe. i beat all 121 stars. it was fun. who else like this game?

This is true. The downside to SMG2, however, is how much they linearized the gameplay; I'd really like to see a Mario game more in the vein of SM64 or SMS than all these SMB3-style world maps.

I agree. SMS is my favorite Mario game of all time. I'd especially like to see a consistent Mushroom Kingdom if they ever go back to the free roaming style.
