Mario Sports Mix is ok.
I just wish it was all Mario and no anything else and that it had more Mario CHaracters in it.

Compared with its prequel I see nothing ok there, sorry.
And it doesn't really matter if there are 3rd party characters. To me it's more like SE didn't put their popular protagonists there.

Yeah, they missed a golden opportunity to bring back SMRPG characters. It was a Mario game after all

Sorry, I think that's two different story. If SE can bring back SMPRG characters then Nintendo can also bring back other original one-time RPG characters, which is something they obviously rarely do.

In this case I only indicate that Square Enix may have used the real protagonists from their FF/DQ series such as Princessa or Cloud.
