Can somebody give me tips on mario kart 7 cos i havent played in ages and i'v lost my skill

I checked their website, but I didn't find anything about Mario Kart 7.

Learn to drift and use items when needed or when near an item box. Otherwise, just practice.

I'm still kinda good, but I lose control when I'm drifting. I also usually use a character with good handling capabilities.

Well, just practice it in Time Trials. You'll get the hang of it.
