Overrated Mario Characters

I don't know whether or you were being serious or not, but I'm merely calling things as I see them. Bowser gets way too much attention from both the fans and the developers. As a villain, I honestly don't understand his appeal. He does the same thing over and over, and next to none of his plans have any real originality. Not to mention the fact that he has the same boring, predictable attack pattern in nearly every game. It doesn't exactly help that Nintendo likes to play blatant favoritism with him, either. Seriously, in some of the recent games, they made no attempt to hide it.
