Beat me to it. I was thinking the same thing as soon as I read that description. Well it looks like another Pokémon won't be appearing in the anime.

That event happened like 17 years ago.

I think it's about time that Porygon actually got love on the Anime instead of having to mini-cameo in things like a movie opening for a split second. I mean, even if it's not him, at least his evolutions can still appear and I'm sure that it wouldn't cause the drama that was brought up from that one lone episode long ago that WASN'T even a result of Porygon.

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. While pictures have yet to be posted, the information that has come out is set to reveal Mega Latios, Mega Latias as well as two brand new Megas, Mega Pidgeot and Beedrill. Images of these specific parts of CoroCoro are yet to come, so it's technically unconfirmed, but the leakers have shown other parts of CoroCoro giving credence to this. We'll bring more, and pics, as they come so keep checking back.
Edit @ 09:45: Mega Pidgeot is Normal/Flying-type with the ability No Guard and Mega Beedrill is Bug/Poison-type with the ability Adaptability. You can fly on Mega Latios & Latias in the overworld and find Pokémon such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga & Palkia in the sky. Latios is exclusive to Omega Ruby and Latias is exclusive to Alpha Sapphire.

So you can get Dialga, Palkia, Reshiram and Zekrom? So good, I hope it's all the 4 and not only 2 for version exclusive.
 
According to Serebii, all non-event legendaries will be available in generation VI.

The birds and Mewtwo were in X and Y. As were Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde.

Lati@s, the Regis, and the Weather Trio are already in ORAS to begin with. This means that we could possibly obtain the beasts, Lugia, Ho-Oh, lake trio, Diagla, Palkia, Giratina, Cresselia, Regigigas, Heatran, the swords of justice, kami trio, Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem.

Mega Pidgeot better be good
 
It gets No Guard. On one hand, Hurricane will always hit. On the other hand, a Thunder, Stone Edge, or Blizzard will always hit Pidgeot.
 
No Guard for Mega Pidgeot seems more bad than good. At least with Machamp, Dynamic Punch will always cause confusion, whereas Hurricane might.

Also, I hope they do events for the Gen III-IV unobtainable legendaries, specifically Manaphy, Shaymin, and Mew since we got a Darkrai and Jirachi one not too long ago, but as afaik, there's only been one Manaphy, Shaymin, and Mew distribution.
