Same reason Beta isn't used for Ruby.
 
I don't believe it, that would be idiot to do that because in Ruby, you get Groudon. In Sapphire, you get Kyogre.
In Emerald you get both, so what's the point of releasing Emerald?
 
Did no one read the post. This is not a confirmation of a new game. It's just something they trademarked. Same thing happened before when they trademarked Pokemon Gray.

no i didn't, that's how i heard about delta emerald, i didn't read your post, yep, that's right, it just magically popped into my head. No, a magical pixie fairy came up and told me about it! Precisely that!
 
If there is Delta Emerald, I'll get it. But if not, I'll settle for Alpha Sapphire. BTW, I hope they don't screw up the music. The one thing that makes Gen 3 better than 4, in my opinion, is its extremely catchy soundtrack.

It has been confirmed that the epsiode of Pokémon Get☆TV that is due to air on June 15th is to feature a large scoop of the latest Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire information. As stated last month, the issue of CoroCoro, due out at the end of next week, promises to have new information as well so it is likely to be a repeat of that information. We'll post the information as soon as we get it

Mega Swampert and Mega Sceptile look badass, it's gonna be a tough choice between the two

also team Aqua/Magma redesigns look alright; Aqua Admins look way better than Magma Admins by comparison, but the Magma Grunts look better than the Aqua Grunts imo. I love both Maxie and Archie's redesigns, sucks that they dropped the ball on Brendan and May

also primal Groudon and primal Kyogre are formed by 'ancient devolution' sweet jesus

man I want either Maxie's or Steven's artwork as my avi so badly

also Brendan and May look heaps better in game so there's that, hope customisation returns though
 
Primal Kyogre for it's own tier.
Mega Diancie is cool because it was meh for a legendary.
And the girl is even better, going to take her.

The Prehistoric Groudon & Kyogre are pretty cool, I saw the other Hoenn starter's mega evos coming, and the redesigns aren't all that much. Why would Mega Sceptile have Lightningrod though? Also, Diancie getting a mega evo was completely out of the blue.

That's actually a good ability for Mega Sceptile. It makes it immune to thunder wave so it always keeps it's high speed and for that and any electric attack you get a +1 special attack boost.
 
Archie is literally a pirate now and Maxie looks more distinguished. Maybe it's the glasses.

Also, Mega Sceptile with the ability Lightning Rod? Talk about useless, since Electric would only do x.025 damage to him...looks cool though, and I'm still picking Treecko. Also, this reinforces my choice to get Sapphire because Aqua looks cooler. I do wonder, though, if you will be able to trade the Mega Stones from AS/OR to X/Y. It'd be pretty shitty if you couldn't, considering that I doubt they'd put all the Mega Stones from X/Y into the new games.

*bleep* Charizard, he's waaaaaaay overused. Can't we see, I dunno, Squirtle or something for once?
Seriously, Mega Metagross would fit him much better. Fire/Dragon is pretty much the antithesis of his whole Steel theme.

Can anyone explain why they're giving Mega Sceptile Lightningrod? I understand Mega Swampert having Swift Swim, they want to make it like Venusaur in Gen 5.
