1) His popularity and relevance is high again now that he got a main role in a recent movie.
2) He appeared as a catchable Pokémon in the most recent games of the series and was one of the only two Pokémon to get two Mega Evolutions.
3) He was considered for the original Super Smash Bros and was partially programmed for Brawl.
4) He's literally one of the most, if not the most, requested characters in the game.
5) Sakurai already said he was thinking about adding him back.
6) It's MEW-FREAKING-TWO, one of the most powerful and iconic Pokémon in the series.
All in all, it would be just stupid to not add him again. If they don't do, I'll be extreeeemely mad. He was my second main in Melee after Peach (I know he's not that good, but he's not that bad either... You just have to get used to him).
