i want to take this opportunity to tell everyone that this is freeee and you should all totally take this wonderful opportunity to experience the original sailor moon as it is being released to the west
it can be watched at http://www.hulu.com/sailor-moon and http://www.viz.com/anime/streaming/sailor-moon
although it looks like it's restricted to ppl in the us, which really sucks. a lot.
if any1 finds it for non-us users pls link so i can watch as well
relevant: viz has also confirmed that they're gonna be making a new dub, and they'll also be releasing dvds and blu-rays for the series

also people who are outside of the us (like me) just use this site and put in the link nitwit posted above, they should have 1-4 up by tommorow hopefully

this is a first. the parental controls on the computer are blocking it for proxy
idk why that would be, usually it just blocks stuff like swearing, gambling, alcohol and pornography, so like does proxy have anything which would justify blocking it for the protection of a child? idk much about proxies other than that they can make you look like you're in another country so yeah lol

o snap, i dont think so. all i know about proxies is that it pretty much makes it just so the website you are trying to access is tricked into thinking you are from the us, nothing of that sort that you mentioned above. i think there are some countries where the things you mentioned are barred and so they might have blocked proxy sites to prevent people from accessing them, not sure about that. i guess maybe try another proxy site? im sure thats not the only one available, and maybe this one is just blocked for no reason lolHotaru Tomoe said:

yeah it blocked the site specifically for proxy so i'd assume that other ones would be blocked as well
i could probably ask my dad about it, although it would probably be better if i asked about a different site since one with "ass" in the url might raise some questions, haha
i'm pretty sure i remember my dad has used proxies before, so i'd assume it would be ok for me to use one, although idk the situation under which he used it so who knows maybe he wouldn't want me using it idk lol

i read an interview with a couple of the people handling the dub, and from what they said it seems like everyone is pretty dedicated and they're gonna make it as faithful to the original as possible, with nothing cut, no gender changes, no changing people to cousins etc. etc. so yeah, sounds like there'll be lots of effort put in, and i'm totally gonna watch at least the first season to see how it goes.
