What happened to Yarn Yoshi?

I haven't heard anything about this game in a while! What happened too it?

I assume it's in development hell or something. It's safe to assume we'll see it at E3 2014 however.

Well according to GX discussion sometime last month Yarn Yoshi was listed under TBC so it's still getting made.

I'll bet you that it will be released exactly one generation and a half from today-similar to what happened with Kirby's Return to Dreamland-in an era where newer consoles have been released and are dominating.
